This programme allows plenty of opportunities to learn through play in a loving, caring environment. Our little anchors spend busy days exploring and making discoveries.

This class continues to learn through lots of play, but they also have more formal periods where they explore the concepts necessary to prepare them for Grade R.
Grade R
This year covers the concepts as laid down in the CAPS curriculum; our pre-reading, pre-writing and pre-maths programmes ensure our boys and girls are well prepared for Grade 1.

Why Little Anchors?
Our Little Anchors is Maris Stella’s co-educational Pre-Primary school, a small, intimate, and nurturing environment. While separate from Maris Stella’s other phases, the Pre-Primary forms part of the wider school family, with specially delegated high school leaders assigned to each class. Promoting a sense of belonging, boosting confidence and independence, and offering an enriching and unique experience.

At Little Anchors Pre-School, we offer a vibrant, happy place for young boys and girls to learn and grow.
We pride ourselves on ensuring a great balance between teacher-directed and free choice activities, encouraging active learning which is child-centered, age-appropriate, and, most importantly, fun!
Our Pre-school, as well as being a beautiful environment, is small, intimate, and nurturing. We are passionate about developing the whole child, balancing their cognitive, emotional, spiritual, and social growth from the age of 3 – 6 years.
At Little Anchors, your children will be loved and cared for by our excellent team of teachers and staff, while we lay a firm foundation for her future academic success.

Aftercare Programmes
Little Anchor’s Aftercare programme provides a safe, secure and stimulating environment for Grade 000 to Grade R between the hours of 12h30 and 16h45. We aim to provide a homely setting, where our children feel comfortable and relaxed after a busy day at school.
Our boys and girls are given opportunities to socialise and engage in free play and structured activities.

R500.00 is payable on application
Non-Refundable Registration
R6000.00 per child is payable in advance and must accompany the official acceptance form.
Tuition Fees
Tuition fees for 2024 at Little Anchors are:
R52 100.00 per annum for Grade 000
R57 450.00 per annum for Grade 00 to R
Tuition Fees
Monthly fee if paid over 10 months
R 5 210.00 per month for Grade 000
R 5 745.00 per month for Grade 00 to R
Annual fees if paid in full before 31 January 2024 receive a 5% discount
